About us
Welcome to Mercyland Church, a divine vision birthed in February 2004 during my 14-day prayer and fasting in the sacred mountain of Ido Ajinare, Ekiti State, Southwest Nigeria. The prayer mountain, established by the revered Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola, became the place where God bestowed upon me the name “Mercyland.”
In those first three days of intense dry fasting, God revealed His plan for this church to spread the gospel of His mercy far and wide, rescuing people from the clutches of the enemy through His boundless compassion. As Romans 9:15 reminds us, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”
Since that pivotal moment, we have carried this message of mercy to nations across the globe, from Germany and Netherlands to South Africa and Australia, with many more to come. Our journey has led us to register the church in Nigeria, South Africa, and Canada, with other nations in the pipeline.

We are dedicated to fostering a warm and inclusive community, embracing individuals from diverse backgrounds, where the transformative work of the Holy Spirit can be experienced by all. Our purpose is to kindle a profound and personal connection with God through fervent prayer, passionate worship, and faithful biblical teachings. As we journey together, our goal is to nurture spiritual growth and maturity among every member of our congregation.
